Chef De Partie

We’re currently recruiting an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie on behalf of a well-established, award-winning hotel in Macroom. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with exceptional Irish ingredients, from free-range poultry to artisan cheeses and fresh-baked breads, in a kitchen where quality and creativity are at the heart of every dish.

The Role

In this position, you’ll rotate across a variety of services within the hotel:

  • Contemporary gastropub (lunch & dinner)

  • Traditional-style café

  • Elegant dining room & banqueting events

  • Breakfast service

You’ll play a key role in delivering memorable dining experiences, whether it’s a busy lunch service or a special event menu.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include

  • Preparing and plating dishes to a high standard

  • Supporting menu development with seasonal, local produce

  • Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

  • Working closely with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure smooth service

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced kitchen

  • A recognised culinary qualification (e.g., QQI Level 5/6, City & Guilds, or equivalent)

  • Genuine passion for cooking and sustainability

  • Strong communication skills in English

  • A positive, team-oriented mindset
